Responsibilities

• Teach Hindi language and literature to students from Grades VI to X in line with CBSE syllabus
• Prepare and deliver lesson plans covering grammar, prose, poetry, composition, comprehension, etc.
• Conduct regular assessments (tests, quizzes, assignments) and provide feedback to help students improve
• Offer remedial support for students who need extra help with Hindi concepts
• Maintain classroom discipline, foster a positive learning environment
• Encourage students to participate in Hindi co‑curricular activities (debates, recitations, creative writing etc.)
• Maintain accurate records for attendance, grades, performance and coordinate with parents via meetings or reports
• Use educational technology and modern teaching aids where appropriate
• Keep updated with CBSE guidelines, teaching methodologies and continue professional growth
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate degree in Hindi (B.A / M.A) or equivalent
• B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory
• Preferably 2‑3 years of experience teaching Hindi as TGT in CBSE school; freshers may be considered if very strong in subject knowledge
• Excellent command of spoken and written Hindi; ability to simplify complex topics
• Good classroom management skills
