Dear Candidate, We are seeking a skilled Linux Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Linux-based systems, ensuring their performance, security, and availability. This role requires expertise in server administration, automation, and troubleshooting . Role & Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and infrastructure . Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability . Implement and manage security policies, firewalls, and access controls . Automate system administration tasks using shell scripting or configuration management tools . Troubleshoot and resolve Linux system issues efficiently. Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for system deployment and management. Manage backup and disaster recovery solutions . Collaborate with development and IT teams to optimize system operations. Stay updated with the latest Linux technologies and best practices . Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong expertise in Linux administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat, etc.). Experience with shell scripting and automation tools (Bash, Python, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef). Knowledge of networking concepts, firewalls, and security protocols . Hands-on experience with virtualization and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Nagios, Prometheus, ELK Stack, etc.). Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills . Proficiency in version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab, etc.). Excellent communication and documentation skills . Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills to work with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
