Job Description Summary Remanufacturing Electrical Specialist will be responsible for disassembly, inspection, repair and assembly of electrical and electronic components. He/she will report to the Reman Operations Leader. Job Description Essential Responsibilities In Addition You Will Be able to perform standard electrical assembly procedures, perform rework, and repair of electrical components and systems to drawing specifications. Perform Test Run of the repaired components and electrical assemblies. Maintain proper handling of GE tools and equipment, including Test Benches. Possess thorough knowledge and ability to use all tools associated with assembling units per required specifications: Soldering precision Tools Hydraulic and electric Torque tools Other Tools included but not limited to impact drills, magnetic drills, basic hand tools (manual and pneumatic) Measurement Tools. Expert in electrical assembly (continuity testing, electrical wiring…) as required on the job Read and understand electrical layout, engineering drawings Follow all EH&S guidelines and policies Follow good environmental practices and waste management procedures. Segregate waste in the pertinent containers at the Repair Hall. Support RCAs and NCRs resolutions. Qualifications/Requirements Electrical or Electronics School Diploma Minimum of 2 years of experience working in Repair Shop or electronics company. Expert in electrical soldering and boards assembly. Training on pitch control software. Expert in testing protocols for electrical components Desired Characteristics Ability to read, understand and follow mechanical and electrical engineering drawings Self-motivated to work with minimal guidance and willingness to learn from others Ability and willingness to work various shifts and overtime on short notice, to meet business needs Additional Information Relocation Assistance Provided: No This is a remote position Show more Show less
