Job Description

The Business Development Executive is responsible for expanding the company's presence in the education technology sector. This includes identifying potential clients, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions to meet those needs. The role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for education and technology. Key Responsibilities: Market Research and Analysis: - Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape in the EdTech sector. - Analyze data to inform strategic business decisions and identify potential markets for expansion. Lead Generation and Conversion: - Develop and implement strategies to generate leads through various channels, including networking, cold calling, email campaigns, and social media. - Qualify leads and convert them into prospective clients by understanding their requirements and presenting appropriate solutions. Client Relationship Management: - Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with educational institutions, corporate training centers, and other stakeholders. - Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction and retention. Sales and Negotiation: - Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients. - Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profit margins while ensuring client satisfaction. - Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics. Collaboration and Coordination: - Work closely with the marketing and product development teams to align on product offerings and promotional strategies. - Provide market feedback to inform product development and improvement. Reporting and Documentation: - Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status using CRM tools. - Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market analysis, and business development activities. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field. - 1-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the EdTech industry. - Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth. - Strong understanding of the education technology landscape and market dynamics. - Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools. - Willingness to travel as required.
