Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Relationship Manager - Retail Channel located in Haldia. The Relationship Manager will develop and maintain relationships with distributors, assist in expanding the retail network, and drive product penetration through effective communication. This role includes managing sales targets, providing periodic updates to stakeholders, and educating clients about SBIMF’s offerings. The position also involves understanding market trends and ensuring timely resolution of client queries, fostering trust and sustained engagement.

Qualifications

• Sales and Marketing skills, including knowledge of mutual fund products, distribution channels, and client engagement.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for managing relationships with distributors and clients.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills for understanding market trends and addressing queries effectively.
• Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple clients and meet sales targets.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools and basic knowledge of CRM systems is an advantage.
• Relevant experience in the mutual fund industry preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is desirable but not compulsory.
• Mandatory NISM Certifications - VA, XXI.
• NISM XIII (must do after joining).
