Job Description

Job Title:

  • Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:

    • Proactively identify and target potential clients through various channels (e.g., networking, referrals, marketing campaigns, branches).
    • Generate leads and convert them into customers by effectively presenting our LAP products and services.
    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, understanding their individual financial needs and providing sound financial advice.
    • Actively manage existing client portfolios, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Loan Application Process:

    • Guide clients through the entire loan application process, assisting with documentation, eligibility checks, and addressing any queries.
    • Collaborate effectively with internal departments (e.g., underwriting, legal, operations) to ensure smooth and efficient loan processing.
    • Monitor loan applications to ensure timely completion and adherence to deadlines.
  • Sales and Marketing:

    • Consistently achieve individual sales targets.
    • Identify opportunities for cross-selling other relevant financial products and services.
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with external partners including real estate agents, referral partners, and branch staff.
    • Contribute to marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and generate new leads.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:

    • Maintain meticulous records and ensure complete compliance with all relevant regulatory and organizational guidelines, policies, and procedures.
    • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with loan applications and client relationships.
  • Customer Service:

    • Provide prompt and professional customer service, addressing client queries and resolving issues effectively and efficiently.
    • Maintain high levels of client satisfaction and build trust through excellent communication and responsiveness.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent. A postgraduate degree is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in sourcing mortgage loans (LAP and Home Loans).
  • Comprehensive understanding of the legal and technical aspects of mortgage lending.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and presentation skills.
  • Ability to effectively build and manage a network of channel partners.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., CRM, Microsoft Office Suite).
