Role & responsibilities

Executing Trades:
The fundamental role is to carry out buy and sell orders on behalf of clients efficiently and at the best available prices.
Providing Market Access:
Brokers provide clients with the necessary platforms and access to various markets (stocks, bonds, mutual funds, etc.).
Advisory Services (for full-service brokers):
Many brokers offer investment advice, market research, and analysis to help clients make informed decisions that align with their financial goals.
Managing Client Portfolios:
Some brokers manage client investment portfolios, monitoring performance and reallocating assets as needed.
Ensuring Compliance and Paperwork:
Brokers must adhere to strict regulatory guidelines set by bodies like FINRA or SEBI, ensuring all transactions are fair, transparent, and legally compliant. They also handle associated administrative tasks and record-keeping.
Client Relationship Management:
Building and maintaining strong client relationships, understanding their needs, and providing regular updates are key responsibilities. .
