Meaningful Work From Day One
The Regional Trade Marketing Manager plays a crucial role between Marketing & Sales - leveraging brand plans into executable channel & customer plans.
The role will work across the portfolio of brands (Jack Daniel’s , Woodford Reserve to name a few) of B-F India in the South region - Karnataka, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and will be responsible for Trade Marketing activity across all channels. You will work closely with Marketing teams, Sales team and external agencies partners to ensure excellence in execution (timeliness, quality of implementation & performance).
What You Can Expect
  • Lead execution planning, rollout and tracking of all national trade marketing campaigns/plans/promotions in the region.
  • Identify business challenges and opportunities in the region, recommend local trade marketing plans/activities with clear objectives and take approval from India trade marketing manager.
  • Leads planning, execution and tracking of local region trade marketing activities.
  • Developing and sharing business and trade marketing performance reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual.
  • Competition tracking and developing & sharing comprehensive competition reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual level.
  • Analyze market and consumer data to identify trends, insights and opportunities for growth.
  • Be a champion to the field for the brands and champion to the brands for the field.
  • Serve as the primary point for generating consumer and competitive intelligence and cascade through the organization and communicate back to the brand.
  • Responsible for impeccable budget management.
  • Leverage the Brown-Forman Growth Framework to develop trade marketing campaigns that resonate with target consumers and build mental and physical availability across all channels of the trade.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with third-party vendors and agencies, ensuring that they provide high-quality and cost-effective marketing services.
What You Bring to the Table
  • College/University (bachelor’s or Equivalent), marketing specialization preferred.
  • Have a bachelor’s degree (Major in Marketing preferred) and 5-7 years sales and marketing experience or field marketing experience within the beverage or CPG industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage competitive intelligence when developing trade marketing plans.
  • Proven track record of effective planning, execution and follow up.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment, meet deadlines and simultaneously develop, deploy, and coordinate multiple projects.
  • High degree of independent judgment and initiative, in a team-oriented, self-managed.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound business decisions, have courageous conversations, influence others, prioritize portfolio and allocate resources effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to create, control, and maintain financial and/or business analyses, including budgets.
  • The ability to operate with a high level of energy on outcomes. Demonstrated enthusiasm for the organization through commitments and actions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on projects with cross-functional teams to meet consensus goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills.
  • Readiness to travel within the market & regionally (the person will spend 10 to 15 days in a month in the market in the region.
