Regional Sales Manager

Role & responsibilities

1. Business Development

• Drive disbursement targets for Professional Loans across the region.
  
• Focus on professionals like doctors, chartered accountants, architects, and lawyers.
  
• Develop and implement a strategy to acquire and grow the professional loans portfolio.
  

2. Team Management

• Lead, manage, and motivate a team of Area Sales Managers and Relationship Managers.
  
• Monitor performance metrics, provide regular coaching, and conduct monthly reviews.
  
• Build a high-performance sales culture with accountability and ownership.
  

3. Channel Management

• Develop and manage DSAs, connectors, and institutional tie-ups (e.g., medical associations, CA societies).
  
• Ensure high productivity and TAT adherence from channel partners.
  
• Train partners on product features, eligibility criteria, and documentation.
  

4. Credit Coordination

• Ensure preliminary checks on income, KYC, and eligibility before file login.
  
• Work closely with the credit team to expedite approvals and reduce turnaround times.
  
• Maintain the balance between business growth and credit quality.
  

5. Compliance & Process Adherence

• Ensure compliance with internal credit policies, documentation standards, and regulatory norms.
  
• Handle internal/external audits and ensure zero non-compliance observations.
  
• Drive digitization and paperless processes where applicable.
  

6. MIS & Reporting

• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and report performance to senior leadership.
  
• Analyze trends, conversions, rejection reasons, and channel performance to improve effectiveness.
