Job Description

  • The Regional Retail Trainer - is responsible for implementing and driving the retail training strategy. This role will focus on enhancing the capabilities of our retail staff, promoting brand standards, ensuring consistency in product knowledge, and improving sales performance. The Regional Retail Trainer will work closely with store managers, staff, and leadership teams to deliver effective training programs that elevate the overall customer experience and achieve business objectives.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Training Development & Delivery:
  • Conduct on-site and virtual training sessions for retail teams across region, focusing on product knowledge, customer service, sales techniques, and brand values.
  • Develop and customize training content to align with regional needs, ensuring relevancy to the specific market and store dynamics.
  • Organize and lead regional training workshops, webinars, and one-on-one coaching sessions.
  • Retail Performance Support:
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, quizzes, and performance metrics.
  • Work with regional leadership to identify knowledge gaps and areas of improvement within the retail teams.
  • Provide ongoing support to ensure continuous learning, development, and consistent application of training.
  • Coaching & Mentoring:
  • Provide coaching to store managers and key staff members to foster skill development and improve sales performance.
  • Act as a mentor to new employees, guiding them through the onboarding process and helping them acclimate to the companys culture and expectations.
  • Collaboration & Reporting: Collaborate with the National Training Manager and other HR/Training staff to align training strategies with broader company goals.
  • Provide regular reports on training progress, challenges, and outcomes to the National Training Manager and regional leadership.
  • Share best practices and success stories across regions to drive continuous improvement.
  • Product Knowledge & Brand Advocacy: Ensure that all retail teams are thoroughly trained on The Sleep Companys products, ensuring they can effectively communicate product features, benefits, and unique selling points to customers.
  • Champion brand values and customer service excellence in all training programs.
  • Event & Retail Support:
  • Participate in regional sales events, product launches, and special promotions, offering training and support to retail staff as needed.
  • Occasionally visit retail locations to observe staff performance, conduct refresher training sessions, and provide hands-on guidance.
