Job Description

Role Overview: Addepar is looking for a Head of APAC, People Business Partner to join the Global People Team and lead the people strategy for the APAC region. This role involves aligning global talent strategy with regional business priorities and providing exceptional partnership to local leaders across R&D, Go-To-Market, and G&A functions. APAC is a high-priority growth region for Addepar, necessitating a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution. The role includes responsibilities such as enabling business growth, scaling the support model, shaping employee experience, and building and scaling a team in the region. The position requires experience in a U.S.-headquartered environment and effective collaboration across time zones, functions, and global teams. Key Responsibilities: - Localize and deliver global people strategies for APAC, tailored to business objectives, market dynamics, and cultural nuances. - Act as a trusted advisor to regional business and site leaders on org design, workforce planning, talent development, and change initiatives. - Balance strategic leadership with hands-on partnership in a lean and growing regional structure. - Coach and influence senior leaders, site management, and local leaders to drive business and people priorities. - Lead HR harmonization across the region by aligning policies, practices, and processes for consistency and operational efficiency. - Lead complex change efforts in the region with an employee-centric approach. - Co-create and drive engagement efforts to shape and sustain a values-aligned culture across APAC. - Ensure compliance with local labor laws, manage employee relations issues, and lead investigations in partnership with Legal and ER. - Partner closely with various departments to ensure consistency in program delivery and localized execution. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 15+ years of professional experience in HR / people function. - Experienced People Business Partner with prior experience leading people strategy in the APAC region. - Strong background supporting or operating within a U.S.-headquartered company. - Skilled in coaching, organizational design, performance and talent development, change management, workforce planning, and employee relations. - Ability to flex between strategic work and hands-on execution in fast-scaling or lean environments. - Collaborative builder with strong relationship skills, excellent judgment, and a people-first mindset. - Experienced in supporting geographically distributed teams and operating with agility and independence. - Confident communicator with excellent listening and influencing skills. - Experience with Workday as an HR system preferred. - Experience with softwares/tools like Lattice, Keka, Google Workspace Suite, peakon, etc., will be beneficial. - Experience working with fast-paced SaaS / Software Product / Fintech companies is a plus. (Note: This role requires working from the Pune office 3 days a week in a hybrid work model),
