Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Process Analysis & Optimization:

- Analyse current operational workflows in warehousing, transportation, and value-added services to identify inefficiencies.

- For new projects, design and roll out SOPs, digitalized SLA/KPI measurements and ensure compliance.

- Develop and implement optimized process solutions that align with customer and business needs.

- Conduct time studies, capacity planning, and process mapping (e.g., using VSM).

- Design and setup Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), including defining requirements for IT platforms, infrastructure requirements (including facilities and automation equipment).

- Support SOP’s with Work Instructions, Templates and Training for the workforce to follow the process

- To setup measurement of SLA/KPI’s in a digitalized manner.

- Conduct process assessment using the Anchor/Assessor framework for all client facing processes and identify opportunities of improvement (OFI) and perform corrective actions and preventive actions (CAPA) for compliance.

Continuous Improvement & Lean Implementation:

- Drive Lean Six Sigma or Kaizen methodologies to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

- Lead workshops and training sessions to embed CI practices at site level.

- Time & Motion Study in IPWH & AMWH.

- Monitor KPI’s and process metrics to assess impact and sustainability of improvements.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

- Work closely with operations, IT, quality, and customer teams to align process improvements with strategic goals.

- Act as the bridge between site-level teams and corporate process engineering leadership.

Technology & Innovation:

- Evaluate and recommend new technologies (e.g., WMS upgrades, automation tools) to enhance process performance.

- Support digital transformation initiatives in collaboration with internal tech teams.

Inventory:

- Oversee inventory accuracy across all regional warehouse sites and ensure compliance with company and client standards.

- Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.

- Monitor and report inventory KPIs, discrepancies, and root causes; develop action plans to resolve variances.

- Lead and support regular cycle counts, full physical inventories, and audits.

- Work closely with IT and WMS teams to ensure accurate system updates and inventory movements.

- Identify process improvement opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

- Provide training and guidance to inventory control staff and warehouse personnel on inventory procedures.

Analyse inventory trends and collaborate on demand planning and replenishment strategies.
