Regional Operations Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Manage

  loan operations

  across multiple branches/locations for

  Mortgage and LAP products

  .
• Ensure timely and accurate

  loan processing, documentation, underwriting coordination, disbursement, and post-disbursement activities

  .
• Drive operational efficiency and implement

  standard operating procedures (SOPs)

  to streamline processes.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with

  regulatory, legal, and internal policy guidelines

  across all operational activities.
• Collaborate with credit, sales, legal, and technical teams for seamless end-to-end loan operations.
  
• Lead and manage branch operations teams, ensuring effective resource utilization and skill development.
  
• Review

  loan documentation, KYC, title verification, and collateral management

  to minimize operational risk.
• Ensure TAT (Turnaround Time) adherence for loan approval and disbursement.
  
• Conduct periodic audits, process reviews, and compliance checks to maintain operational integrity.
  
• Support business growth by ensuring

  customer-centric operations

  and high-quality service delivery.
• Prepare and present

  MIS reports, operational dashboards, and productivity metrics

  to senior management.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of

  Mortgage Loans and Loan Against Property (LAP) operations

  .
• Expertise in

  loan processing, documentation, disbursement, and compliance management

  .
• In-depth understanding of

  operational risk, regulatory frameworks, and lending processes

  .
• Leadership and team management skills with the ability to handle multi-location operations.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and customer service orientation.
  

Qualification & Experience:

• Graduate/Postgraduate, preferably with specialization in Finance/Operations.
  
• Min 5 years of relevant experience in

  loan operations (Mortgage & LAP)

  with Banks, NBFCs, or HFCs.
• Proven track record of managing area/regional operations teams.
