We are seeking a dynamic and driven Regional Manager to oversee upGrad's Learning
Centres in the South region. This role is ideal for a Tier-1 MBA
graduate with a strong sales orientation and early leadership experience. The Regional
Manager will be responsible for driving enrolments, managing centre operations,
expanding upGrad's presence in the region and ensuring academic delivery excellence.
1. Sales Leadership: Drive enrolments and revenue for the region through effective sales strategies and local partnerships.
2. Franchise Partner Management: Collaborate with franchise partners to align
business goals, monitor performance, and drive results across partner-led centres.
3. Centre & Instructor Oversight: Oversee daily operations of Centre Managers, Academic Counsellors and Instructors, ensuring smooth delivery of classes, student satisfaction and adherence to academic quality benchmarks.
4. Business Growth: Identify opportunities to expand upGrad's footprint in the region and contribute to long-term regional strategy.
5. Team Development: Mentor and coach Centre Managers, Academic Counsellors, and Instructors, fostering a high-performance culture.
6. Customer Experience: Ensure students and parents receive a seamless and high-quality experience across centres.
7. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with central teams (Marketing, Placements, Academic Operations) to align regional execution with company goals.
MBA from a Tier-1 business school.
24 years of experience in sales, business development, or P&L ownership.
Strong leadership potential with the ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
