The role involves managing a set of dealerships to achieve business parameters such as volumes, market share, collection, deliveries, and spare part sales. One of the key responsibilities is ensuring a viable distribution network by appointing dealers and sub-dealers for appropriate market coverage. It is essential to ensure the availability of trained manpower in adequate quantity at dealerships. Facilitating and coaching dealers and their staff for the implementation of various systems like MSS and Panchatantra is crucial. Additionally, ensuring the availability of appropriate service infrastructure and driving the implementation of service systems to enhance customer satisfaction is a significant aspect of the role. Executing events like local level sales promotion campaigns and product launches is part of the responsibilities. Training dealer salesmen on pre-sales and sales processes, as well as new product features/modifications, is also necessary. Tracking competitor activities, capturing feedback on the performance of both competitor and own products is vital. Designing and implementing specific incentive schemes for dealers and liaising with financial institutions/banks to explore new avenues for retail financing of products are important tasks. The ideal candidate should be an Engineering graduate with approximately 4 to 7 years of experience or a Diploma holder with 7 to 9 years of relevant experience in the industry. Overall, the job requires a proactive approach towards managing dealership networks, implementing effective systems, conducting promotional activities, and enhancing customer satisfaction to achieve business objectives.,
