The role of Regional Manager Decorative Sales (East) in the Decorative Sales department involves reporting to the Zonal Manager Sales and overseeing 2-3 Retailers. Your primary responsibilities will include providing performance reviews, evaluating sales data, and trends for strategic oversight. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic business plans aligned with organizational goals, monitoring sales trends, competition analysis, and ensuring consistent premium experience delivery across all regions within the territory. As a Regional Manager, you will be expected to spearhead new market entries, identify key competition dealers, and channels to convert them into exclusive partners. You will also implement localized promotion strategies based on overall market objectives to drive market development and expansion. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Supply Chain, Marketing, and Finance will be essential to ensure smooth operations. You will oversee regional depot functioning, demand planning, and supply alignment activities to maintain efficient operations and sales governance. Stakeholder engagement is a crucial aspect of the role, where you will monitor the effectiveness of merchandising programs with external clients such as retailers and actively engage with key dealers to support local promotional activities. The ideal candidate for this role should have an MBA/PGDM in Retail/Sales from a reputed institute and possess 10-12 years of progressive experience in leading retail companies or key accounts handling roles. Strong exposure to regional expansion initiatives within the retail industry domain and a proven track record of delivering high growth while building relationships with stakeholders are key requirements.
