As the Warehouse & Distribution Manager for the West region operations, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the warehousing activities to ensure efficient operations and timely deliveries. Your responsibilities will include: - Managing warehouse operations of Central Distribution Center and Regional Distribution Center for West region, covering a total area of approximately 3 Lacs Square feet. - Handling Export Operations to Middle East, Africa, and South Asian countries, as well as Pan India Spares Distribution. - Collaborating with 3rd Party Logistics service provider to ensure smooth execution of warehouse operations. - Supervising Inbound, Outbound, and Inventory transactions with a focus on accuracy and meeting business SLAs. - Maintaining high Inventory accuracy through periodic counts and audits, while ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. - Establishing controls in operations and implementing necessary measures to meet ISO requirements. - Providing supervision, coaching, and training to the operations workforce. In the West Regional Distribution, your key responsibilities will involve: - Being accountable for overall West Regional distribution operations. - Coordinating with Sales, Order fulfillment team, and International business team for timely customer shipments. - Managing communication with Transporters, Customers, Suppliers, and Warehouse contractors. - Handling customer claims efficiently within defined SLAs. - Monitoring Inward and Outward operations to maintain >95% Service levels and avoid detention/demurrage. - Collaborating with the regional sales team to ensure timely customer deliveries. - Reviewing, Processing & Auditing Vendor & transporter bills. - Monitoring 3PL Partner & Transporters performance related to Cost, Quality, Lead time, and Service levels. - Accountable for Budgeting, Spending, and timely provisioning of expenses for warehouses. - Leading projects across functional environments, including Digital initiatives, to achieve desired results. Key Performance Indicators for your role will include: - On-time delivery of customer orders - Inventory Accuracy - Timely Inbound and Outbound process execution - Claim settlement SLA adherence - Budget vs Actuals for warehouse expenses - Accurate provisioning on a monthly basis - % Utilization of trucks & freight spend for the region - 3PL performance - Legal compliances To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications: - Graduate or Engineer with an MBA degree. - Good knowledge of Logistics and warehousing. - Proficiency in SAP, WMS, and Microsoft Office Tools. - Strong Technical and Analytical skills for managing MIS, Reports, and Dashboards. - 4-8 years of relevant experience. - Excellent communication skills. In terms of relationships and contacts, you will report to the Manager of Pan India Distribution & Warehousing and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as Sales, Service, Planning, and distribution team. Additionally, you will engage with external business relationships including Customers, Vendors, Transporters, and 3PL partners.
