Job Title: Regional Training Head Mumbai Region

Location:

Role Overview:

The Regional Training Head will be responsible for managing and driving all training and development initiatives across the Mumbai region. This role ensures that agents are effectively inducted, activated, and equipped to achieve productivity goals. The position focuses on improving agent performance, enhancing product knowledge, and driving a balanced product mix to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Strategy & Execution:

    • Develop and implement regional training plans aligned with organizational goals.
    • Conduct induction programs for new agents and ensure smooth onboarding.
    • Design and deliver skill enhancement sessions to improve agent productivity and product knowledge.
  • Agent Activation & Productivity:

    • Drive agent activation initiatives to ensure timely engagement post-recruitment.
    • Monitor and improve new agent productivity through structured training interventions.
    • Track performance metrics and identify gaps for targeted training.
  • Product Knowledge & Mix:

    • Ensure agents are well-versed with the entire product portfolio.
    • Promote balanced product mix through focused training modules.
    • Collaborate with product teams to update training content as per new launches or changes.
  • Team Management & Collaboration:

    • Lead and mentor a team of trainers within the region.
    • Work closely with Sales, HR, and Operations teams to align training with business needs.
  • Compliance & Reporting:

    • Maintain training records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Provide regular reports on training effectiveness and agent performance improvements.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of training methodologies and adult learning principles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
  • Leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Familiarity with insurance/financial services industry (preferred).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline
  • 8–12 years of experience in training, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in managing training for large sales teams and agent networks.
