Regional Credit Manager - Loan Against Property

As the Manager of Retail Loan Credit Underwriting, your role involves owning the entire credit underwriting process for the assigned region. This includes applying a credit policy consistently, conducting periodic credit reviews, managing early warning and delinquency, and assessing potential customers" creditworthiness. Your responsibilities include: - Conducting periodic reviews of existing policies, guidelines, and processes to ensure alignment with external environment, organizational needs, and regulatory framework. - Assessing customers sourced by the Sales team according to the credit policy, determining deviations, and providing decisions on deals. - Monitoring the local market through interactions with customers, dealers, branches, and other market intermediaries to provide recommendations for corrective actions. - Arranging credit programs and training within the company's credit framework, providing inputs for portfolio analytics and scoring models. - Authorizing deviations raised by underwriters in compliance with credit policy. - Coordinating with external vendors for timely query resolution and report submission. - Engaging in the development, implementation, review, and monitoring of credit programs, providing training to upgrade the team's competency. - Efficiently managing the team, ensuring motivation, and making quick decisions to maintain processing efficiency. - Handling the credit buying process, including monitoring turnarounds, approvals, and quality checks. - Developing cross-functional collaboration to ensure smooth business operations and quick turnaround time. - Ensuring compliance with all audit and regulatory regulations, as well as company processes, policies, and reports. Your qualifications for this role include a Post Graduate or Graduate degree in any discipline.
