Reference Data Management (Oracle Database Developer and Pricing system)

As an Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst at our company, your role involves participating in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. Your contribution to applications systems analysis and programming activities is crucial for the success of our projects. **Responsibilities:** - Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts, and basic knowledge of other technical areas to identify and define necessary system enhancements, including using script tools and analyzing/interpreting code - Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues, and recommend programming solutions, install, and support customer exposure systems - Apply fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications - Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues, as well as conduct testing and debugging - Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts - Identify problems, analyze information, and make evaluative judgments to recommend and implement solutions - Resolve issues by identifying and selecting solutions through the applications of acquired technical experience and guided by precedents - Operate with a limited level of direct supervision - Exercise independence of judgment and autonomy - Act as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members - Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets **Qualifications:** - Work with SQL and other standard database query tools to manage and retrieve data - Reference Data Management experience - Oracle Database PL/SQL Developer with Investment Banking experience (Pricing platform experience is preferred) - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and deliver exceptional user experiences - Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment - Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, proactively seeking opportunities to improve existing systems - Experience in handling various data file formats - Pipe Delimited, JSON, XML, CSV, etc. - Strong analytical and quantitative skills; Data-driven and results-oriented - Knowledge of front office/back office and reporting workflows and operations - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a time-sensitive environment - Effective communication and stakeholder management skills across business and technical teams **Education:** - Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience This job description provides a high-level overview of the work performed.
