What would you do?
The Role:The incumbent should be an expert in account reconciliation process and will be responsible for Managing the RTR team of 20+ FTEs for monitoring month/Year end Close activities, Fixed asset accounting, Intercompany confirmation/Reconciliation, Bank/GL reconciliation, Journal posting, and Reporting. Good in depth understanding of overall process and play lead role in Remote/Onshore transition, preparing the SOPs, perform various Gates and Go live. Manage the daily operations related communications, interactions with internal & client stakeholdersboth by e-mails and calls as well. He/she must have working experience in leading RTR process for international client, BPO organization. Work as Trainer/mentor for team members who are freshers/CL 12 and CL 11 & CL 10 resources- Good knowledge of GL process including daily/monthly bank statement uploads, open item clearing, standard/adhoc journal posting, bank and GL reconciliations, fixed assets, month-end closing reporting, and intercompany reconciliation- Manage end-to-end Record-to-Report (RTR) process:overseeing from transaction recording to financial statement generation- Implement and maintain financial controls and processes to safeguard data integrity and minimize errors- Effectively manage the team during Onshore/Offshore transitions, ensuring all gates/milestones are met- Monitor transition process daily and resolve any issues promptly- Collaborate with the client on finalization of close calendar, standardizing journal/reconciliation support, and dashboard reporting- Finalize SLA/KPIs, implement reporting structures, and conduct monthly governance meetings-Ensure BE documentation is completed on time with necessary controls in place-Interact with client SMEs to ensure SOPs are reviewed and signed off-Oversee treasury activities like daily sweeps, fund transfers, loan creation, forex/hedging, ensuring timely execution and no escalations-Review ERP interfaces for treasury activities and report variances-Effectively manage emails and adhere to the Client Escalation Matrix-Propose and implement lean ideas to improve process controls, accuracy, and productivity-Timely response to stakeholder queries/complaints-Regular interaction with client SMEs and and leads on daily work and process issues-Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Client ManagementPeople Management Responsibilities:Manage team of 20-25 FTEs overall. Play the role of trainer/coach for new joiners/freshers and CL 10/12 resources. You will need to hold monthly meaningful conversations with team members to discuss performance, coaching and feedback, training needs, and career discussions. Publish monthly scorecard, performance feedback Motivation of team by way of regular appreciation for good work, RnR, team dinner etc Work with CD team for enhancing communication/Soft skills of team members Delegate to develop and groom team members for succession planning. Act as second in command in absence of immediate supervisor of process. Work allocation and timely completion of tasks. Adaptable and flexible Ability to perform under pressureMicrosoft ExcelMicrosoft Excel VBA Programming
Qualifications:Minimum 12 to 15 years of experience in Finance & Accounting function . Minimum Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting CA/CMA Intermediate will be as added advantage from domain standpoint Good knowledge of GL reconciliation process Team handling experience is a must.System & applications Experience of working in SAP ERP preferred.s Good knowledge of MS Excel & word.Communication & Interpersonal skills Ability to interact with Client SME for daily operational activities Excellent in communication skills both oral and written as need to interact with various stakeholders via calls and e-mails. Closely work with team to drive process/organizational initiative Must be able to communicate both orally and in writing to influence others through one-on-one conversations, governance calls with client.
