Skill required: Record To Report - Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations Designation: Record to Report Ops Specialist Qualifications: BBA/BCom/MCom Years of Experience: 7 to 11 years What would you do? Lead the Working Capital Management (WCM) team, which includes AP Goods-not-for-Resale (GNFR) and Cash Management departments. This role will provide the opportunity to combine your technical reporting, business process development and people skills to effectively support and advise the enterprise on various initiatives. Set the strategic, mid-to-long term, financial objectives for the WCM team. Ensures Accounts Payable and Cash Management policies and control narratives are regularly reviewed and updated. Promotes a culture of compliance. Advanced level of analytical ability and financial acumen required to plan, review, and interpret business results. Ability to create accurate forecasts and effectively communicate business insights to senior leadership. Oversee daily cash management activities and approve monthly bank reconciliations. Oversee team results and adjust performance targets as required. Fosters a positive team culture by encouraging creativity and new ideas that generate process efficiencies allowing the team to deliver strong results. Encourages change management; able to shift/re-prioritize while not losing focus on end goal Mentor and develop direct reports. Ad hoc projects and analysisThe Balance Sheet Reconciliations team focuses on balance sheet analysis which involves evaluating all balance sheet accounts against sub-ledger or other non-general ledger-based source data. The role requires a good understanding of P&L accounts, general ledger, bookkeeping, journal entry, voucher entry, trial balance, and month-end reporting. What are we looking for? Knowledge of cash management, banking, and treasury best practices required. Understanding of financial forecasting methodologies is preferred. Understanding of Power Query, Power BI/data modelling is preferred, and technical understanding of automation tools. Ability to analyze processes, develop efficiencies and initiate constructive solutions. Strong English presentation and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and coordinate with a team. Advanced experience with spreadsheet applications, word documents and email (office suite), Power Point, Visio. Be flexible and able to adapt to change in a positive manner. Understands how decisions are made and how they affect other work units. Previous experience in SAP would be considered an asset (production and testing environments).
