Job Description

Sehar – Ek Nayi Udaan is a multidisciplinary early-intervention and special-education center dedicated to supporting children through play-based learning, therapy, and developmental guidance. Our team includes psychologists, special educators, physiotherapists, speech therapists, and neurodevelopmental pediatricians — all working together to empower families.

We are now looking for a warm, organized and proactive Receptionist to join our team.

Role Overview

The Receptionist at Sehar is the first point of contact for parents, children, and visitors. This role requires someone who is friendly, patient, and highly organized, with a genuine love for working in a child-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet parents, children, and visitors with warmth and professionalism.
  • Manage front-desk operations including calls, walk-ins, and appointment scheduling.
  • Coordinate session timings with therapists (session-wise scheduling).
  • Maintain records, attendance sheets, and follow-up lists.
  • Support administrative tasks — documentation, payments, receipts, forms.
  • Serve as a communication bridge between parents and the clinical/therapy team.
  • Handle inquiries related to programs, therapies, and registrations.
  • Manage daily centre operations such as cleanliness checks and inventory coordination.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum: Graduate (any discipline).
  • Prior experience in front-desk, receptionist, or administrative roles preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi/Gujarati.
  • Comfortable interacting with children and parents.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, WhatsApp Business).
  • Pleasant, patient, and empathetic demeanor.

Preferred Qualities

  • Experience in healthcare, education, or child-related settings.
  • Ability to work calmly in a dynamic environment.
  • Proactive problem-solving attitude.
  • Professional grooming and punctuality.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: ₹3,000.00 - ₹4,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 15 per week
