Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Front Desk Management Greet and assist patients and visitors politely.

2. Patient Registration Collect and enter patient details accurately in the hospital system.

3. Appointment Handling Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments for doctors and departments.

4. Telephone Handling – Answer incoming calls, transfer them to the concerned departments, and take messages when required.

5. Billing & Payments – Assist patients with billing, collect payments, and issue receipts.

6. Record Keeping – Maintain files, patient records, and ensure confidentiality of data.

7. Coordination – Communicate with doctors, nurses, and administrative staff for smooth patient flow.

8. Visitor Assistance – Provide information about hospital services, directions, and policies.

9. Administrative Support – Help with documentation, reports, and clerical tasks as needed.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification: Graduate (any stream).

Experience: 1–5 years (experience in hospital or healthcare sector preferred).

Skills Required:

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, hospital software)

Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure

Professional appearance and polite behavior

Basic understanding of medical terms (added advantage)
