Job Description

As a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator, your role involves preparing manual paperwork for shipments when necessary, ensuring proper filing and archiving of all shipping and receiving documents, and contributing to the definition of procedures and methods to control these activities. You will be responsible for addressing and resolving issues related to incorrect or missing documents or labels, as well as contacting suppliers to ensure compliance and following up on corrective action plans. Reporting discrepancies in supplier documents and labeling, controlling the receiving and shipping job stream in the system, and providing support during off-shift hours for ongoing issues are also key responsibilities. Additionally, you will organize and oversee premium transportation during off-shift hours, manage proof of delivery issues, and send ASNs to customers without EDI connection or failed ASNs. Qualifications required for this role include strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively, and proficiency in using shipping and receiving systems. Previous experience in a similar role and knowledge of shipping and logistics procedures would be advantageous. In addition to the responsibilities outlined above, as part of the company's commitment to excellence, you will have the opportunity to contribute to addressing critical issues faced by sites during crises, ensuring that progress roadmaps are developed and implemented effectively.
