Rebar Detailer & Quantity Take-off Specialist

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Rebar Detailer & Quantity Take-off Specialist to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality rebar shop drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), and material take-offs while ensuring compliance with international codes and standards. This role requires close collaboration with structural engineers, project managers, and site teams to deliver accurate, timely, and constructible reinforcement solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare rebar shop drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, or CADS RC.
• Generate Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) and accurate material take-offs.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (ACI, BS, ASTM, IS, CRSI).
• Coordinate with structural engineers, project managers, and site teams to resolve design conflicts.
• Identify and address potential clashes in reinforcement layouts.
• Maintain revision records and update drawings as per design modifications.
• Deliver accurate, high-quality drawings on schedule for fabrication and construction.
• Provide technical support to fabricators and site teams during execution.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of experience in rebar detailing, drafting, or structural drawings (for junior roles).
• 5+ years of experience for senior-level positions.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla Structures, or CADS RC.
• Strong knowledge of concrete reinforcement codes and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
