Rebar Detailer

Job Summary

Mikan Engineering and Construction Pvt Ltd is hiring a Revit Structural / Rebar Modeler & Detailer to support BIM modeling, reinforcement detailing, and drawing production in compliance with IS (India), EU/Eurocodes, BS (British Standards), and ACI (American standards) as per project/client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage Revit Structural 3D models (RC and steel as required)
• Perform Rebar modeling & detailing in Revit:
• bar layouts, cover, laps/anchorage, hooks, spacing, couplers (if required), bar marks
• Produce deliverables: GA drawings, RC drawings, rebar placement drawings, sections, details
• Prepare / export BBS (Bar Bending Schedule) and quantities (Excel output if required)
• Ensure detailing aligns with IS / Eurocode / BS / ACI based on project specification
• Coordinate with Architectural/MEP models, resolve clashes, and support BIM coordination
• Handle markups, revisions, submissions, and maintain internal QC

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in Revit Structural + Rebar
• Practical understanding of reinforcement detailing rules:
• cover, laps, anchorage, hooks, spacing, curtailment, bar marking, schedules
• Exposure to projects following IS / Eurocode / BS / ACI (any combination)
• Strong drafting/detailing skills and revision control
• Comfortable working in rotation shifts

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

• Revit rebar schedules/BBS workflows and Excel outputs
• Navisworks for coordination / clash detection
• Experience in industrial/building RC structures (WTP / pharma / plant structures)
• AutoCAD support for 2D detailing
