Job Description

React.js Developer (3–5 Years Experience)

Location: Ahmedabad

Brilworks is looking for a skilled and motivated React.js Developer with 3–5 years of professional experience. The ideal candidate is passionate about front-end engineering, thrives in a collaborative environment, and delivers high-quality, scalable solutions.Responsibilities

Translate user stories and business requirements from Jira into high-quality, maintainable code.
Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and QA to build robust and scalable features.
Develop responsive, pixel-perfect UI components based on Figma designs.
Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
Contribute to code reviews and mentor junior developers when needed.
Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code stability and long-term maintainability.
Participate in sprint planning and follow Agile best practices.

Required Skills

Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
Deep understanding of React.js, including hooks, lifecycle, component patterns, and performance optimisation techniques.
Hands-on experience with state management tools (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or Context API).
Ability to convert Figma designs into responsive React components and maintain UI consistency using Storybook.
Familiarity with REST APIs and modern front-end build tools (Webpack, Vite, Babel).
Solid understanding of Git, branching, pull requests, and code review practices.
Basic understanding of performance profiling and web vitals.

Good to Have

Experience working with GraphQL (Apollo Client / URQL).
Experience with AWS services such as S3, Cognito, CloudFront, or Lambda.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
Experience with Next.js for SSR, routing, and API routes.
Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).

Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
Ownership mindset, accountability, and ability to work independently.
