Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of large-scale, responsive web applications using React and Node.js.
  
• Define frontend architecture, coding standards, and best practices across projects.
  
• Drive component reusability, scalability, and maintainability.
  
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to developers through design/code reviews and pair programming.
  
• Collaborate with backend, DevOps, and product teams for seamless API and middleware integrations.
  
• Oversee cloud deployments (GCP), ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable application delivery.
  
• Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
  
• Lead efforts on CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and automation.
  
• Ensure performance optimization, security, and scalability across frontend and backend layers.
  
• Stay up to date with emerging frontend and cloud technologies and evaluate tools/frameworks for adoption.
  
• Drive architectural decisions, technical strategy, and innovation as a Principal Engineer / Architect.
  

Core Technical Skills

• Frontend:

  React (Hooks, Context API, Redux/Zustand), advanced JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, responsive UI design.

• Backend:

  Node.js (REST APIs, Express.js, microservices architecture).

• Cloud & DevOps:

  Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Cloud Run, GKE, IAM, Pub/Sub, Storage.

• Containerization & Orchestration:

  Docker, Kubernetes (preferably GKE).

• Version Control & CI/CD:

  Git, GitHub/GitLab, automated pipelines.

• Testing:

  Jest, React Testing Library, integration/unit testing.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with GraphQL or gRPC.
  
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Cloud Deployment Manager).
  
• Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
  
• Awareness of modern security practices (JWT, OAuth, API security).
