Responsibilities
  • Build mobile chat interfaces: message lists, typing indicator, voice recording
  • Integrate REST APIs,

    WebSockets, Pusher, Ably

  • Manage push notifications (FCM / APNs)
  • Handle file uploads, media viewer, documents, audio messages
  • Implement background tasks, deep linking, offline mode
  • Optimize performance, reduce memory usage, crash analytics
  • Publish builds to App Store & Play Store


Requirements
  • Strong hands-on experience with

    React Native (JS/TS)

  • Expo + bare workflow knowledge
  • Working with Firebase/Supabase + authentication
  • Integrations: file picker, camera, microphone, maps


Bonus
  • WebRTC (future voice/video calls)
  • In-app chat module experience is a BIG plus
  • Real-time messaging, socket architecture
