Job Description

Job Description: As a candidate with over 20 years of experience in design and development of AIS and GIS High voltage switchgear, your role at Siemens Energy will involve being an expert in developing different mechanisms for Circuit Breaker and GIS. You will be responsible for performing finite element analysis, including static structural, linear and non-linear analyses. Additionally, you will utilize your hands-on experience in performing seismic and random vibration, harmonic analysis, coupled structural-thermal analysis, and motion simulation. Your knowledge of manufacturing processes such as forging, welding, different material removal processes, and castings will be essential. Furthermore, you will be expected to have experience in R&D project management and leading a team of more than 15 engineers. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop AIS and GIS High voltage switchgear - Develop different mechanisms for Circuit Breaker and GIS - Perform finite element analysis including static structural, linear and non-linear analyses - Conduct seismic and random vibration, harmonic analysis, coupled structural-thermal analysis, and motion simulation - Utilize knowledge of manufacturing processes such as forging, welding, different material removal processes, and castings - Manage R&D projects - Lead a team of more than 15 engineers Qualifications Required: - Over 20 years of experience in design and development of AIS and GIS High voltage switchgear - Expertise in developing mechanisms for Circuit Breaker and GIS - Hands-on experience in finite element analysis and various analyses - Proficiency in seismic and random vibration, harmonic analysis, coupled structural-thermal analysis, and motion simulation - Knowledge of manufacturing processes like forging, welding, material removal processes, and castings - Experience in R&D project management - Experience in leading a team of more than 15 engineers,
