Role & responsibilities

  • R&D Snacks category

    Need Food Technology Bachler or Masters Degree
  • Responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination & execution of research projects
  • Managing and guiding the teams
  • Should have knowledge of R&D formulations developments
  • Should have knowledge of the surfactants as well as specialty chemicals
  • Should have knowledge of products stability and packaging
  • Promoting culture of innovations
  • Developing and managing the budgets
  • Assessing the new technologies and methodologies to enhance the R&D capabilities
  • Managing and guiding the teams

R&D Manager to lead our research and development efforts in the Namkeen/ Snacks category.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Development:

    Lead the development of new Namkeen snack products from concept to commercialization, ensuring alignment with market trends and consumer preferences.
  • Research:

    Conduct thorough research on ingredients, processing methods, and packaging to enhance product quality and shelf life.
  • Quality Assurance:

    Collaborate with the quality assurance team to establish product specifications and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
  • Team Leadership:

    Manage and mentor a team of food technologists and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Market Analysis:

    Analyze market trends and consumer feedback to identify opportunities for new product development or product improvement.
  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and production, to ensure successful product launches.
  • Budget Management:

    Prepare and manage the R&D budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    B.Tech in Food Technology or a related field.
  • Experience:

    Minimum of [5+ years] experience in R&D within the food industry, specifically in snacks or related categories.
  • Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of food processing and preservation techniques.
    • Proficient in project management and product development processes.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
