R&D Food Technologist

Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and innovative Food Technologist with a strong background in nutraceutical product formulation and development. You will lead the formulation process for our upcoming product range, ensuring they meet market demands, regulatory compliance, and consumer expectations. You will work closely with our marketing and quality teams to create products tailored for different health goals, genders, and lifestyle needs.

Key Responsibilities:

· Research and design innovative product formulations based on market trends and scientific evidence.

· Develop and finalize supplement compositions, considering taste, efficacy, and nutritional value.

· Ensure all products comply with FSSAI and other relevant Indian regulations.

· Customize formulations for different health groups, genders, and performance needs.

· Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure ingredient quality and sourcing.

· Provide scientific justification and nutritional data for product claims.

· Stay updated on industry trends, new ingredients, and emerging research in sports, wellness, and nutrition.

· Work closely with the marketing team to provide nutritional insights for product packaging and promotions.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, or related field.

· Minimum 3+ years of experience in nutritional product formulation.

· Strong knowledge of supplements, sports nutrition, wellness products, and dosage requirements.

· Experience working with herbal, plant-based, and synthetic ingredients.

· Familiarity with Indian and global supplement regulations (FSSAI, GMP, etc.).

· Ability to translate scientific research into commercially viable products.

· Excellent communication and project management skills.

Preferred:

· Prior experience in the formulation of protein supplements, vitamins, herbal blends, wellness products.

· Strong network of raw material suppliers and industry contacts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
