Role Overview: You are a part of the Research & Development team at Reckitt, contributing to the creation of a cleaner, healthier world. Your role as an Assistant / Technician for Maintenance & Expansion involves transforming ideas into reality and ensuring that products meet and exceed rigorous standards. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee laboratory-based product work from inception to write-up, following project-specific KPIs and benchmarks. - Develop expertise in specific product portfolios / technologies and apply this knowledge to daily tasks. - Drive the enhancement of R&D laboratory procedures and best practices, including documentation and reporting. - Align tasks with business priorities under the guidance of your line manager. - Identify and implement minor improvements to established techniques, systems, or processes to optimize performance. Qualifications Required: - Strong scientific background, either through a related degree or experience in formulation and scientific operations. - Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and work independently towards success. - Proficiency in problem-solving, data analysis, and technical issue resolution. - Business acumen and commercial awareness with a curiosity for consumer insights. - Adaptability to technological advancements and a forward-thinking mindset for continuous innovation.
