R&D Associate / Chemist - API & R&D

Job Title: Research Associate – API R&D

Experience: 2-3 Years

Qualification: MSc in Organic Chemistry

Job Location: R & D, Mahape, Navi-Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct experiments for the development of APIs, including synthesis, optimization, and process development.

· Perform literature searches and study patents to design and develop cost-effective, scalable, and efficient synthetic routes.

· Optimize reaction parameters such as yield, purity, and productivity while adhering to project timelines.

· Work on process validation and transfer from the laboratory to pilot and production scale.

· Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including laboratory notebooks, development reports, and other required records.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Analytical, Quality, and Regulatory departments, to ensure project alignment.

· Ensure compliance with GMP and safety protocols in all laboratory activities.

· Stay updated on advancements in API R&D and integrate innovative techniques into projects.

Key Skills and Competencies:

· Strong knowledge of organic synthesis and process development.

· Experience with API manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements.

· Proficiency in analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, and spectroscopy (NMR, IR, MS).

· Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Strong documentation and reporting skills.

· Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

· Experience in handling scale-up operations and technology transfer.

· Familiarity with regulatory guidelines such as ICH, FDA and EMEA

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
