Job Description

As an experienced designer, you will oversee the entire design lifecycle of two-wheeler exterior, plastics, and trims. Your responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating a sound knowledge of Body Parts/Exterior/Panels and trim design. - Utilizing CAD modelling and PLM tools, specifically UG-NX/CATIA, Teamcenter, or equivalent. - Applying FE analysis and working with software like ANSYS/HYPERMESH or equivalent. - Managing multiple tasks such as Testing co-ordination, Benchmarking, and Supplier interactions. - Understanding various materials and manufacturing processes used in Plastic design, along with knowledge of manufacturing guidelines. - Implementing GD&T, DFMEA, DFM, etc., for effective design processes. In terms of technical proficiency, you should be well-versed in Plastic/Trim Part design for components like fenders, fairing assembly, seats, side panels, etc. Additionally, you will be responsible for virtual simulation (CAE, FEA) for part design and incorporating insights from it. It is essential to stay updated on new technologies in vehicle interior design, have a basic understanding of vehicle layout design, ergonomics, and homologation requirements. Strong communication skills are also a key requirement. Specific expertise required for this role includes proficiency in: - Unigraphics-NX (CRITICAL) - Teamcenter Engineering or PLM system - FEA (Ansys/Hypermesh/Nastran) - Exposure to design standards and relevant regulations (Current, Future) As an experienced designer, you will oversee the entire design lifecycle of two-wheeler exterior, plastics, and trims.
