Description

Key Responsibilities:

Experience and understanding of rail industrial development design, surface grading,

underground services, utilities, drains etc.

Preparation of Drawings for Rail Plan and profile, Typical section, Cross sections, Layout

setting and General arrangement drawings.

Interference Check with other disciplines and resolution of Inter Disciplinary Clashes.
Willing to advance in career by taking increased engineering design responsibilities by

closely working with discipline lead engineer.

A committed team player able to work on own initiative.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good Communication skills (verbal & written) and ability to self-check and produce

accurate work.

Tools:
MicroStation or AutoCAD
OpenRail, OpenRoads, InRoads, Civil 3D
Microsoft Office Tools – MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, Outlook,

OneNote

Qualifications

Qualifications & Skillset:

Diploma in Civil Engineering or ITI in Civil Draftsman.
Minimum 2 to 8 years of experience in preparing the drawings for rail.
Working knowledge of design codes and standards used for Rail Engineering designs.
Working knowledge of the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance of Way

Association (AREMA) guidelines.This job posting will remain open a minimum of 72 hours and on an ongoing basis until filled.
