Job Description

1.

1.1 To allocate the Radiology staff including technician in case of leave.

1.2 To prepare the duty roster as per shift and patient load.

1.3 To inform HOD regarding the absconding or absence of staff.

2.1 To maintain the minimum stock level of required stationary for Investigations, and broacher.

2.2 To send indent to store every mid of the month.

2.3 To do quarterly audit of stocks in hand

3.1 To take note of the patient complain personally using a feedback format.

3.2 He/she listen patient complaints carefully Try to sort out the problem at the site of problem generation and make the patient comfortable.

3.3 In case the Patient grievance cannot be handled at their level, escalate the situation to their superiors.

3.4 Prepare an incident report along with the necessary steps taken.

4.1 To assess the training needs of the PRE and Technicians at regular level and identify the staffs for training program.

4.2 To co-ordinate with the training and development manager and design appropriate program for staff.

4.3 To distribute the training certificates following the completion of training program.

4.4 To prepare the skill set matrix of all staff monthly basis .

5.1 To ensure that patients investigation and report turnaround time is less.

5.2 To evaluate the turnaround tracker maintained at Radiology Reception.

5.3 To reduce any unnecessary patient waiting time by ensuring proper queuing method is followed at all patient encounter points at radiology reception.

5.4 Achieving the highest standards of customer / patient care.

5.5 Managing internal /external customer and coordinate the activities with different department and different doctors.

5.6 Take all necessary measurements to improve the standard of patient care with coordination with Sr. Manager-Operations

5.7 Monitor the appointment scheduling and reminder calls ,

5.8 Co-ordination with accounts department for billing activities of patients.

5.9 To submit the quality tracker to quality department every end of the month.

5.10 Submit a daily and monthly report to Sr. Manager Operations in respect of No. of Investigation done, No. of pending reports, No. of appointments booked, No. of patient refused to undergo for investigations,

6.1 To take daily rounds at the main lobby area, procedure room ,rest room waiting area and assess the ambience of the lobby followed by checklist.

6.2 To ensure proper cleanliness is maintained in the lobby area and in case of any complaints coordinating with the house keeping in charge.

6.3 To ensure overcrowding is avoided at the main lobby area , waiting area and procedure room.

6.4 To ensure that proper signage systems and Information regarding procedure is maintained at the lobby area/ waiting area.

6.5 To guide the patient in concerned department.

  • Staff Management.

  • Maintain the inventory of stationary and Consumables .

  • Handel Patient Complaints.

  • Conduct Training Program.

  • Monitor the quality system

    and quality trackers

  • Overall round in Radiology and imaging center.
