Job Title: Radiographer (Diagnostic Center)

Department: Diagnostic Imaging / Radiology

Reports To: Center Manager / Radiology In-Charge

Experience : 2 to 3 years

Gender : Female

Job Summary:

The Radiographer is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging examinations to assist doctors in the accurate diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. The role involves operating X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and other imaging equipment (as applicable), ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to radiation protection standards within a diagnostic center environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnostic Imaging:
  • Perform X-rays and other imaging procedures (CT, MRI, Mammography, etc., depending on center facilities) following physician requests and standard protocols.
  • Patient Care:

Greet, identify, and prepare patients for imaging procedures; explain the process clearly to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation.

  • Image Quality and Accuracy:

Ensure optimal positioning, exposure, and image quality for accurate interpretation by radiologists.Follow all radiation safety measures and ensure both patient and staff are protected according to ALARA principles.Operate and maintain imaging equipment properly; report any technical issues or malfunctions promptly to the supervisor or service team.Maintain accurate patient records, imaging logs, and ensure timely uploading or submission of images for radiologist reporting.Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and administrative staff to ensure smooth workflow and excellent patient service.Participate in regular quality control checks, audits, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.Stay updated on new imaging technologies, procedures, and safety guidelines through ongoing training.Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Radiography or Medical Imaging.
  • Certification: Valid registration or license from the relevant professional regulatory authority.
  • Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging preferred (fresh graduates may be considered).
  • Skills:
  • Strong technical knowledge of imaging equipment and procedures
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple cases per day
  • Commitment to patient care and safety

Working Conditions:

  • Diagnostic center or imaging lab setting.
  • May involve rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Exposure to ionizing radiation (strictly controlled and monitored).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹18,000.00 per month
