About the Role

We are looking for a qualified and dedicated Radiographer to join our hospital’s Radiology Department in Assam. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment. Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, MRI, and other radiographic examinations as required.
• Ensure correct patient identification, positioning, and exposure settings for optimal image quality.
• Maintain radiation safety standards and follow all hospital protocols for infection control.
• Work closely with radiologists, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic support.
• Properly maintain and operate imaging equipment; promptly report any faults or service needs.
• Keep accurate and confidential patient records and reports.
• Assist in training and guiding junior staff or students when necessary.
• Participate in departmental meetings, audits, and quality improvement programs.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Radiography / Medical Imaging Technology from a recognized institution.
• Valid registration with the Paramedical Council or relevant regulatory authority.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in diagnostic radiography preferred (freshers may also apply).
• Knowledge of modern imaging systems (CR/DR, CT, MRI) will be an advantage.
• Strong communication, organizational, and patient-care skills.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and on-call duties as required.
