Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Radiographer, located in Kolkata. The Radiographer will perform day-to-day radiographic imaging, ensuring the accurate preparation, positioning, and operation of imaging equipment. Responsibilities include conducting diagnostic tests such as X-rays and other imaging methodologies, assisting medical professionals with test results, and maintaining equipment functionality. The role also involves ensuring the safety and comfort of patients while adhering to all safety protocols and healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

• Skills in operating radiographic, X-ray, and other diagnostic imaging equipment efficiently and safely
• Knowledge of patient positioning techniques, preparing for imaging procedures, and ensuring patient safety
• Understanding of healthcare guidelines, radiation safety, and equipment maintenance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals
• Certification in Radiography or an equivalent qualification in a related field
• Familiarity with interpreting diagnostic results and submitting accurate reports promptly
• Prior experience working in a hospital or clinical environment is a plus
• Commitment to lifelong learning and staying updated on advancements in radiography and imaging technology
