Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Radiation Safety Officer located in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area. The Radiation Safety Officer will be responsible for monitoring and managing the radiation safety program, ensuring compliance with radiation safety regulations, providing training to staff, conducting regular safety audits, maintaining records of radioactive materials and their usage, and overseeing dosimetry programs. The role involves close collaboration with the health physics department and other relevant teams to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience with Dosimetry and Radioactive Materials
• Knowledge of Radiation and Radiation Safety
• Health Physics expertise
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor’s degree in Health Physics, Radiological Science, or related field
• Relevant certification or licensure (e.g., Certified Health Physicist) is a plus
