Job Description

R2R / General Ledger (GL) Accountant

Key Responsibilities

Handle end-to-end
General Ledger (GL) / Record to Report (R2R)
activities.
Record and reconcile accounting transactions related to assets, liabilities, equity, revenue, and expenses.
Work with sub-ledgers including
Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Purchasing, and Projects
.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
Prepare and review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory standards.
Support audits by providing required documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for data accuracy and reporting.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of
General Ledger (GL)
and
Record to Report (R2R)
processes.
Hands-on experience in
month-end & year-end closing
.
Good understanding of accounting concepts and standards.
Experience working with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/MS Dynamics or similar).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders.

Education & Experience

Bachelors or Masters degree in Commerce / Finance / Accounting.
26 years of experience in
GL / R2R
process.
