Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Lead the
research, design, and development
of new modular furniture products and components.
Conduct
reverse engineering
on existing products to improve design, performance, and manufacturability.
Develop
2D and 3D designs
using
AutoCAD
(mandatory) and
ZWCAD/Pytha
(preferred).
Perform
simulation and analysis
for structural strength, material behavior, and product performance.
Select and evaluate suitable
materials
(especially
steel, aluminum, and Modular Furniture
) for design and production.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams
production, purchase, quality, and marketing
to ensure design feasibility and cost optimization.
Prepare and maintain
technical drawings, BOMs, and product documentation
.
Conduct
prototype development and testing
to validate designs and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Research and implement
new technologies, materials, and manufacturing methods
to enhance product innovation.
Support the
continuous improvement
of existing designs and production processes.
Ensure all designs meet
ergonomic, safety, and functional
requirements.
Provide
technical support
during product trials and production ramp-up.
