Quantity Surveyor - Residential Interiors

Furdo Interiors is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team. We need someone who is good with numbers and understands civil work. Your main job is to help us track project costs, check bills from vendors, and ensure we are paying for exactly what is built on-site.

What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Estimation: Look at design drawings and calculate the budget and materials needed for the project.
• Site Visits: Visit the site regularly to check the work progress. You need to measure the "actual scope" of work done versus what was planned.
• Billing: Check bills submitted by vendors and contractors. You must verify their measurements on-site before approving payment.
• Coordination: Talk to the Site Team and Vendors to solve any cost issues or disagreements.
• Tracking: Keep a record of all costs using Excel to make sure the project stays within budget.

Who We Are Looking For

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a similar field.
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in civil billing, checking measurements at the site, or estimation work.
• Software Skills:
• AutoCAD: You must know how to read drawings and take measurements using AutoCAD.
• Excel: You should be comfortable creating tables and basic calculations.
• Key Skills:
• Good at math and spotting errors in numbers.
• Honest and accurate when checking bills.
• Able to speak clearly with site engineers and vendors.
