As a quantity surveyor at JKS Innovative Construction Pvt Ltd, you will play a crucial role in managing all building and civil engineering project costs, ensuring the financial success of our construction projects. Your responsibilities will include: - Preparation of cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents. - Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best prices and terms. - Managing project budgets, forecasting, and monitoring costs. - Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all project-related costs and financial transactions. - Providing expert advice on procurement, risk management, and cost-saving measures. Your tasks will involve: - Understanding client requirements and performing quantities take off as per marking and RCP drawings. - Preparing BOQ by studying specification sheets and identifying gaps between BOQ and contract conditions. - Monitoring and controlling costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities. - Participating in pre-tendering activities and preparing quotes and contracts. - Coordinating with the design team for analyzing drawings and managing valuations, claims, and variations. Required skills and qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, construction management, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in quantity surveying or cost consulting in the construction industry. - Sound knowledge of construction industry practices, regulations, and standards. - Proficiency in cost estimation, cost management techniques, and contract administration. - Experience with AutoCAD and quantity validation from drawings. - Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks effectively, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
