Role Description

Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities

Measurement & Billing

• Take precise site measurements for client and subcontractor billing.

• Prepare running bills and final bills accurately and on time.

Project Analysis & Costing

• Assist in project analysis and cost monitoring throughout execution.

• Prepare Tender Information (TI), BOQs, and budgets for vendors and subcontractors.

• Track deviations and provide cost impact reports.

Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination

• Prepare and negotiate subcontractor/vendor settlements upon work completion.

• Coordinate with the procurement department to update material quantities and requirements.

Documentation & Planning

• Support in preparing BOQs, rate analysis, and material requirement sheets.

• Maintain proper documentation for approvals, bills, and settlements.

• Collaborate with project executives, managers, and procurement teams for smooth coordination.

Travel

• Visit project sites across different cities for measurements, verification, and vendor coordination.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.

• 2–5 years of experience in interiors/fit-out projects (retail/residential/commercial).

• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and vendor settlements.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and billing software.

• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Willingness to travel for site measurements and vendor coordination.
