Job Description

Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed
BOQs, cost estimates, and budgets
for residential/commercial real estate projects
Handle
rate analysis
, quantity take-offs, and material reconciliation
Monitor project costs and control variations, extras, and claims
Prepare and verify
contractor bills
, RA bills, and final bills
Coordinate with
project, design, procurement, and site teams
Evaluate tenders, negotiate rates, and assist in finalizing contracts
Track project cost vs budget and prepare
cost reports
for management
Ensure compliance with contract terms and company standards
Assist in
value engineering
and cost optimization
Maintain proper documentation and records for audits

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree/Diploma in
Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
4–7 years of relevant experience in
real estate construction projects
Strong knowledge of
BOQ preparation, billing, estimation, and contracts
Proficiency in
MS Excel, AutoCAD
, and relevant QS software
Good understanding of construction methods and materials
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
