Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (Civil) to handle quantity surveying and billing works for our private building projects and PWD construction projects. The candidate should be well-versed in measurements, drawings, and site coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and checking of JMR (Joint Measurement Records) as per drawings and site conditions
• Preparation of BBS (Bar Bending Schedules) in accordance with structural drawings
• Quantity take-off and estimation based on approved drawings and specifications
• Verification of quantities executed at site and reconciliation with BOQ
• Preparation and certification of running account bills (RA bills) and final bills
• Handling and preparing RFI (Request for Information) related to drawings, quantities, and site clarifications
• Coordination with site engineers, consultants, and clients for measurement and billing matters
• Knowledge of PWD measurement procedures, specifications, and standard formats
• Maintaining proper documentation and records for audit and approvals
• Assisting in variation statements, extra item analysis, and rate analysis as required

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma / B.Tech / B.E/ITI in Civil Engineering
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor (Civil)
• Strong knowledge of JMR, BBS, BOQ, and billing procedures
• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings
• Good understanding of site conditions and execution methods
• Experience in PWD projects will be an added advantage
• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic billing/estimation tools
• Good communication and coordination skills
