Quantity Survey Engineer

Company:

Job Summary:

Quantity Survey Engineer -Faade

Key Responsibilities:

Faade Quantity Take-Offs:

Perform detailed quantity take-offs from architectural and shop drawings specific to faade systems.
Prepare accurate and comprehensive MTOs for bulk procurement of faade materials.

Specification Compliance:

Review faade specifications and ensure all materials align with project and client requirements.
Identify and resolve discrepancies in material specifications in coordination with design and procurement teams.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

Collaborate with design, procurement, and planning departments to ensure timely material availability.
Provide technical support to resolve material-related issues during planning and execution phases.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain up-to-date records of quantity take-offs, MTOs, and material schedules.
Generate regular reports on material planning status and submit to the Sr. Material Planning Engineer.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:
Degree or Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years in quantity surveying or material planning, preferably in the aluminum faade or curtain wall industry.
Skills:

Strong analytical and planning capabilities.
Proficiency in quantity take-off software (e.g., AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Rivet Excel).
Familiarity with faade systems, materials, and installation methods.
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
